Many users mighty not enjoy people viewing their post, and comment history. So I believe it would be beneficial to the website to enact some sort of privacy settings.

Wouldn't your post be visible to all regardless? It is a public forum after all. Not sure I really get this whole privacy thing on an open discussion site.

I agree that there should be some type of comment history privacy. Though, in case you didn't know, your comment history is automatically removed after a certain period of time (I think two weeks or so) so there is little chance that anybody would be able to dig up anything ancient.

Unfortunately, all it takes is a quick Google search:

    site:Snapzu.com "USERNAME"

Unless you have a common word for a username ("And"), that's all someone would need pull up every comment and post you ever made. There's really not much Snapzu, or any public forum, can do about it.

If someone wants to see what you;ve posted...they're gonna find a way

Even if this was implemented, your user name and comment history will still be easily accessible via search engines as every discussion you take part in on Snapzu will be indexed.

-1, I like Snapzu to be communal. I don't want it to be Facebook.

I just don't feel that some people would enjoy having followers seeing all the things they currently say, and this would be detrimental if anyone tried downvoting a person's comments.
