Cash on Hand

Has anyone else found that having cash helps you spend with more regulationYour title here...

================== ? I try to budget out my expenses and stick to it, sometimes this is more successful than others. I have realized though, that if I pay for things with cash (other than bills which are paid online), its somehow easier to track. I'm able to visually see that this $30 is for gas and this $15 is for movie tickets etc etc. Perhaps its the interactiveness of it all.

Im the opposite. Cash leaves me with 0 accountability. No paper trail at all. By establishing the path that my money took I find I consistently spend less money. I can SEE cash as money, and it just makes me think "buy/spend". My card is just plastic and holds none of the same feelings for me.

Good news is, we both found ways to help ourselves!
