First post and greetings!

Welcome to /t/fictionwriting!

Hello everyone, thank you for checking out the fictionwriting tribe! I am still figuring out snapzu and all of its functionality, but my hope is that we can grow this tribe into a strong, positive community of writers. There is no requirement to joining, other than abiding by the basic tribe rules.

1. Share! We want to read what you are working on, even if it is rough or unfinished.
2. Do not plagiarize (this should be obvious).
3. Help other writers by offering constructive criticism.

We are open to anyone who enjoys writing fiction, amateur or professional, any genre, any skill level, whether you've written a hundred novels or a single blog post. The goal is not to form some elitist cabal, but to help each other improve our craft. I look forward to seeing what you all bring to the table!

If you are interested, please feel free to chime in and introduce yourself! As for me, my name is Garrett, and I am an amateur writer. I've had numerous blogs over the years, but what I always found lacking was a community of other writers with whom to share my work. I want to improve and learn from others that are trying to do the same, not just blindly post things for others to maybe stumble across.

So again, welcome, and I hope we can build a place for all writers to share and improve their work.
