Mississippi House Passes Bill to Legalize Cannabis Oil
The Mississippi House of Representatives voted Thursday to make a medicinal cannabis oil legal in the state. The House voted 112-6 to pass the final version of House Bill 1231. A group of parents who have children with severe epilepsy originally asked lawmakers to legalize the oil, though Baker said epileptic adults could also take advantage of the medicine if the bill becomes law.
