Kevin Feige On Not Recasting T’Challa In The MCU: ‘It Was Much Too Soon’
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, stories of Black Panther have so far focused primarily on the character of T’Challa – from his introduction in Captain America: Civil War, through to groundbreaking solo outing Black Panther, and into Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame – as he took over the mantle from his fallen father King T’Chaka. But following the tragic loss of Chadwick Boseman, Ryan Coogler’s sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be a very different kind of Black Panther movie – one without T’Challa at its centre, though still very much about his legacy.

We Should Have Let Game of Thrones Fade Away When We Had the Chance
When talking about era-defining television shows, Game of Thrones has to be on the top of the list. The high fantasy drama aired for the central eight years of the 2010s and was undoubtedly one of the most influential shows of all time when it was in its prime. It was one of those rare shows where once you watched it, you either loved it and couldn’t get enough, or you hated it and couldn’t look away because literally everyone else you know was watching it. Game of Thrones is one of the few true “cultural phenomena” of the 21st century, and it’s likely that everyone realizes that especially because of how badly it crashed and burned.

An invading force, 10,000 strong, marches through a storm toward a fortress built into the side of a mountain. They rattle their spears and snarl through teeth that have never known modern dentistry, and when lightning strikes, it reveals their sheer numbers. Volleys of arrows fly, swords find their way to the weak spots around breast plates. Bodies on both sides hit the ground.

‘The Rings Of Power’ Has Inexplicably Terrible Writing
I’ve come to a sad realization: The creators of Amazon’s The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power know how to create spectacle, but they don’t know how to tell a good story. There it is, scrawled in blood on the wall. The writers and showrunners responsible for this show could have won me over with good fan-fiction. They could have tossed Tolkien’s lore onto a bonfire and I’d have been perfectly happy if they’d simply crafted an enjoyable story with characters I care about.
