The Yellow Sea
Taken by NASA Goddard Space Flight Center on Feb. 24, 2015. Remote sensing of ocean color in the Yellow Sea can be a challenge. Lars Hierta-fjellet at Svalbard
In 2008, I went to Svalbard. The day this was taken we were just outside of Longyearbyen looking for fossils. I saw the mountain in the distance but realized my 100mm lens couldn't capture the scene. I took 5 shots of the mountain, made sure there was an overlap and took the pictures home to edit later. This is perhaps the fourth time I've edited the photo, this time it's done in LR's native photomerging tool.
