I have done this a couple of times in /t/religion and /t/Atheist today.. Lol, why get in a big debate when in the grand scheme of things. Who cares. ;)
I do this a lot, especially in large discussion threads. Sometimes I can't seem to put my thoughts into words, or I figure someone's going to post a well-articulated version of my opinion anyway.
By the way, I almost did it again with this comment!
