DAE (when reading a book) find themselves lost in thought and then catch themselves still scanning down the pages as if they were reading

I'm guilty of this more and more often

    Yes, and then have to scan all the way back to find out where I left off.

      yup me too...gets quite annoying sometimes when I find myself reading the same page for 10 minutes

        And then the tedium of re-reading what I've just read to find out where I was in case I miss out one important sentence that could change the whole meaning of the book (something which has never happened)

          haha, also when I'm doing an english assignment and I need to find that one quote...I can't afford to miss any sentences
