“Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” has been renewed for Season 4 at Netflix, Variety has learned. The series stars Ellie Kemper, Tituss Burgess, Jane Krakowski and Carol Kane. Tina Fey, Robert Carlock, Jeff Richmond and David Miner serve as executive prodocuers. The series is produced by Universal Television, Little Stranger Inc., 3 Arts Entertainment and Bevel Gears for Netflix.

The pair, who played beer-loving Canadian bumpkins in an imaginary talk show, will perform at a benefit concert next month alongside Martin Short, Dan Aykroyd and Eugene Levy. Ellen DeGeneres will appear in a brand new stand up special for Netflix, Variety has confirmed. “It has been 15 years since I did a stand-up special. 15 years,” DeGeneres said in a statement. “And I’m writing it now, I can’t wait. The streaming giant has finally confirmed that it's ordered a fifth season of the cult comedy. Amazon has signed a straight-to-series order for a new half-hour comedy series based on the book The Dangerous Book for Boys. The new series is the brainchild of Emmy-winning Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston, who Amazon has already worked with on their original series Sneaky Pete, and Greg Mottola, director of Paul and Superbad.

Chris Rock has just announced that he is returning to the stage for the first time in nine years with the Total Blackout Tour 2017. The U.S tour, which runs from February to June of next year, will visit cities all over the country, from Denver to Minneapolis to Tampa to Atlanta.
