Opinions on Civilization Beyond Earth?

I know it's been pretty much panned in other bigger communities, but personally I thought it does have its good points. Just wanted to gauge the interest of you guys here on CivBE. What do you think of it? Do you have the game, and if yes, do you still play it?

    I found CivBE to be boring compared to civ v. I didn't like the science fiction aspect of it, I find it a lot more entertaining to build a civ going through real eras that have happened instead offake ones. I liked building the civ from scratch. That's just my view on it though
