Hello :-) Thank you for adding me, Stacey. I am Vie O'Lette and I am based in Southampton, UK. My style in three words? Comic. Gurning. Stylish ;-) There are so many burlesque performers I admire and for so many different reasons. Glorian Gray has been a long time favourite; her performances were always highly entertaining, even on the ice (seriously impressed still!), but she is also one of the most kind, caring, considerate people I have met on the circuit. Joe Black; more all round cabaret vaudevillian performer and I adore him; funny, creative, challenging, talented, friend. I can't think who to pick for the third choice, as I can't narrow it down. Again, just one legend?! I guess it would be Anna Fur Laxis (very closely folowed by Dirty Martini and Julie Atlas Muz). I would like to see lots of wonderful things: community, support, encouragement, all wrapped up in glitter and sparkles. xx

Introducing myself! :) My stage name is Starla Bright. I’ve been using that name for one type of performing and another for 12 years now so I’m very attached to it. I’m based in Sheffield which is super convenient as it’s right on the M1. I would sum up my performer style by saying cheeky, funny and rockin’! I admire SO many amazing burlesque people, but if I’m choosing just three I’d say Fancy Chance, Abigail Collins and Anna Fur Laxis. In this group I’ll like to see links to great articles and blogs about burlesque. Hints and tips are always great. I’ve been performing all my life but I never stop learning! :)

Hello Stacey, thanks for adding me too. My stage name is Coyly Demure and I am based in Glasgow. I am a newbie burlesque hobbyist who loves the glamorous artists from the golden days of Hollywood and vaudeville. I recently made my debut at a venue in Glasgow and can't wait to perform again. The three burlesque performers I admire at the moment are Missy Malone, Lada Redstar and Dirty Martini. There are so many legends from burlesque I love, but I suppose Lili St Cyr, Sally Rand and of course Gypsy are right up there. I like to read interesting blogs and articles on burlesque and tips and hints are always welcome for a newcomer like me. xx

Hello - have you read Gilded Lily? The book about Lili St Cyr? It's great, I love her too :)

Hi, Tooshie La Tata here! I'm based in the North East (near Middlesbrough) and my style is definitely character, comedy and slapstick! I admire many performers, I love going to shows as well as being in them! My favourites make me laugh so I guess Tidy & Tips and Velma Von Bonbon. However I also love sheer talent and innovation and for that I adore Aurora Galore. On this tribe I would like to see castings, tips, burly related stories, workshops, gigs...anything related to the cabaret scene x Love Tooshie x
