The largest Black Lives Matter page on Facebook is reportedly a fraud — run by a white man in Australia who used it to take in more than $100,000 in donations. The page was simply called “Black Lives Matter” and had nearly 700,000 followers, compared with the 322,000 for the verified page of the same name, CNN reported Monday. The bogus page has been suspended and online payment platforms PayPal, Patreon, Donorbox and Classy have stopped working with it.

Activist Erica Garner has died, after suffering brain damage following a heart attack. She was 27 years old. Her official Twitter account announced her death Saturday morning. She entered the public eye in July 2014 when her father, Eric Garner, died after being put in a chokehold by a New York City police officer. Eric Garner was seen on video saying, "I can't breathe" 11 times before he died.

BLM Protests Fundraiser for Suspended Cop Who Fatally Shot Black Man
Black Lives Matter protesters reportedly cursed at officers outside a police union fundraiser for a White officer who’s been suspended after fatally shooting a Black man in the back following a traffic stop. Asa Khalif, one of the group’s coordinators, shouted at police through a bullhorn on Sunday that, “It’s a disgrace you’re having a party for a murderer.” Union president John McNesby declined comment. Police commissioner Richard Ross says Officer Ryan Pownall has been suspended and should be terminated later this month.

Elementary school teachers will wear Black Lives Matter shirts next week
At John Muir Elementary, teachers plan to wear Black Lives Matter t-shirts in class next Friday. Marjorie Lamarre teaches third grade and says she has a responsibility to show that she cares. “To be silent would be almost unforgiveable, and I think we have been silent for almost too long,” said Lamarre. Teacher Jennifer Whitney came up with the idea to make t-shirts that read: "Black Lives Matter, We Stand Together" with the schools name included.

Black Lives Matter runway protest stops flights at London City airport
Flights have been cancelled at London’s City airport after nine protesters from Black Lives Matter UK got on to the runway and chained themselves together. The airport said all flights were disrupted and that police were at the scene. The Metropolitan police said nine protesters erected a tripod on the runway and locked themselves together just before dawn. By 9.30am, seven of them had been arrested on suspicion of aggravated trespass, being unlawfully airside, and breaching the airport’s bylaws.

"Korryn Gaines was a 23 year old woman killed by the Baltimore County Police on August 1, 2016. According to the Baltimore County Police Department, officers sought to serve Gaines a warrant in relation to an earlier traffic violation. Upon entering her apartment, an hours-long standoff ensued. At least one of the officers shot Gaines, killing her and wounding Gaines’ five-year-old son. Portions of the standoff were filmed by Gaines and posted to social-media networking sites; however, upon police request, Facebook deactivated Gaines’ Facebook and Instagram accounts (which we later restored after her death).

Black Lives Matter protesters intent on causing chaos in London blocked in a Waitrose lorry as they chanted 'hands up, don't shoot' at police officers - who were not carrying guns. The group of so-far peaceful demonstrators marched through east London and stopped traffic in Whitechapel and Shoreditch, frustrating revellers heading to the trendy area for a Friday night out. A Waitrose lorry was caught up in the drama on Whitechapel High Street, with police called in to guard it as officers allowed the march to continue.
