What gives you peace or better yet is your Fortress of Solitude?

I would have to honestly say that my peace is my girlfriend we have been together for about 3 years now and she can tell what every look on my face means and that just helps. She pushes me to be a better person than what I am. She listens when I feel like no one else in the world does that anymore.

She also is a great singer so I love just listening to her sing.

So the feeling that gives me peace the most is just getting to call her mine.

I could say my fiancé but I wouldn't really call that Solitude so, honestly, Minecraft. When I log into Minecraft I totally and pretty much completely lose touch with reality unless something pulls me back out. I have had such an infatuation with it ever since the first time I played it. I only REALLY play it alone and when I play it with other people it's with a small group of close friends/family and we play in the same room. The soundtrack is perfection. I'll often silence it in game and play it from the C418 page on Spotify so it's there's more or less always a tune from the OST playing quietly in the background. Not much makes me feel better or washes the worries away like a good 3 or 4 hour Minecraft binge.

Regardless of how lame that sounds I'm sticking with my answer re-reading it. It's pretty accurate.

Walking by the river. I'm fortunate to live by one of the most well tended to stretches of river in the UK. Actually, I might go now, I've been feeling out of sorts. Thanks for reminding me :)

I like getting lost in videogames, especially, Dead Space, Earthbound, Metroid, Dark Souls, and Terraria. They all have such immersive worlds to me that I just lose track of time and forget about my woes. Also on the list for me would be reading a good book, learning a new skill, or just playing on my guitar.
