What is something you feel that you learned way too late in life?

That I should have saved most of my money as soon as possible. I started saving at around 30, but I should have started 10 years earlier.

I learnt this lesson very young the hard way. Now I'm trying to teach it to my SO and it's a bit of an uphill battle...

That time really does speed up as you age- at least relatively speaking and that with 30 looming over my head, I feel I've wasted too much time. But now that I realize all that I have too many other responsibilities to get myself back on the track I thought I was heading for.

That stress is nothing but you adding to the situation. You don't need it, you will never need it.

    The Dalai Lama:

If a problem is fixable, if a situation is such that you can do something about it, then there is no need to worry. If it's not fixable, then there is no help in worrying. There is no benefit in worrying whatsoever.

That being me isn't such a bad thing after all. In fact it's a bit of a laugh.

To take my passion for drawing seriously.

I'm 31 now, I started actually trying to do something with drawing when I was 25 and while I am VERY lucky to have a couple of published books and whatnot now I REALLY wish I had started a good decade earlier. The progress I've made in just 6 years is awesome but damn I'd like a lot more on top of that.

To find one thing you really love doing and focus on it.
