Safety regulations and features in general, most of the stuff we use is so safe that we get careless around thing that aren't.
Seeing colour. I saw a video one time of a dude seeing colour for the first time and he was crying of joy. "The grass is just so green". Yes, for us, grass is just green. For him, it was green!
