One of the arcade cabinet space shooters. For the life of me I can't find the exact version. It was one where you would rotate around a circle cluster of enemies and shot inward. Would play it at a hotel stop during our travels.
The first game I owned and played was Pokemon Gold Version.
Pong. My friend from the neighbourhood had this huge console-like thing connected to his tv and all of a sudden I could move things on screen. That was a weird experience for me. Not much later that same friend showed me his brother's VCR and I was sold. The friend's father was/is an electronics marvel to me: he built transmitters and radio's, had antenna's all over the roof, everything electric and electronic in the house was his domain. A real nerd. :-) This was around 1980, 1981.
Frogger. It was anxiety inducing for me to endanger the frogs, I wished there was a field with a proper pond for them instead-- much to the amusement/derision of my older sister who usually hogged it and whipped through it at a daunting to my skills pace --so I was happy when the E.T. game came out and we got it, because I would mostly wander around and "make his head go long".
I think it was some weird Smurf game on the Atari 2600 or ColecoVision. AKA, I recall being much more entranced with turning it on, and off, then playing it, and it was before I went to my friends house to play their NES, or before our house got a Sega.

Something like Tempest?
The top comment of that video actually pegged it! It was definitely Gyruss. Thanks a bunch, this has been bugging me for so long! :D
Happy to help, but you dug for it. Gyruss? Do you wish you could still play, the way I wish I could Sinistar?
Gyruss has put my teenage finances several times in distress. "Gotta get to earth!" :-)

Mario
Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers for the original NES
I can't even remember which one it was, probably a variation of Pong. I was under 3 years old at the time, maybe even younger.
tetris
It was 'Spase Invaders' on my fathers, green screen, Atari computer.
probably Little Computer People or one of the Funschool games.
Pac-Man in college.
