What's your best cold and flu remedy SNAPZU?

Feeling poorly and looking for suggestions (and sympathy!). Trying the usual rest, paracetamol and fluids-but I think I need some weird and wonderful suggestions for a speedy recovery.

Sleep...take 2 tylenol night time and sleep. As much as you can. Drink water. Sleep.

Eat lots of fruit and try to over-hydrate.

It's funny how I just feel like fruit-particularly oranges and not much else.

“Take a bottle of whiskey and go to bed. Hang your hat on the bedpost. Drink whiskey until you see two hats. Go to sleep.”

Remember, if you are taking prescription medication, will be operating a vehicle or are under the legal drinking age in your area, these uses of whiskey for congestion are not an option for you.

Zicam seems to work well for me when the alcohol doesn't.....

I find that the generic version of Alka-Seltzer cold medicines do wonders to treat the symptoms.

If I'm really feeling terrible, I'll take some Advil Cold and Flu, heat this guy up, and cuddle up in my bed for a nice nap. The combination of the medicine kicking in and the heat/lavender from the cozy is amazing.

How could you not feel better after a cuddle from that little cutie.

Chamomile tea + honey. I've got the flu currently and it's been making a world of difference.

I love chamomile tea-never thought to add honey.

Make sure it's local! My physician is a beekeeper, so I buy it from him, and he lives not that far away. Something to do with the bees being local makes it better on your body.

Some raw garlic on a piece of toast.

Let me guess-it keeps everyone away so no one notices you're sick.
