Would you go to a village fair where there's no flashing lights , no music and bells?

In my town there is a fair of 10 days, on one of those days the flashing lights go off and the volume control of the music and the bells goes down, so people with epilepsy or autism will enjoy the peace of a low-stimulus day. Are there any other cities that also do this and what do you think of this?

Absolutely! I've been to a few supposedly family oriented activities where they pumped pop or metal music through the roof and I felt like running away the second I arrived. I'm an adult male and it made me sick, figuratively. How do you think I felt about my 2 year-old? I do hope she gets to hear alright until she's at least 8 or 10 years old, thank you.

I always wonder why event organizers can't make an event without loud, crappy music. Honestly, if you want to put music in an event where it is not the main attraction, pick something calm and that isn't noticed much, like jazz, (calm) classic or elevator music. Soundtracks work well also. And for f**k's sake turn down that volume!

To answer your second question though, I've never heard of another city or event that did this, but I'd support it anytime.
