What is the best thing you can buy for 10 dollars or less?

Convince me. Convince everyone else in this thread.

It can be anything (site rules apply of course)! Also a great way to discover things you didn't think you needed!

You can always find some neat inde games on steam for under $10. My favorite is Papers Please.

Even better are the Humble Bundles. Why get one indie game for under $10 when you can get several?

For the best bang for your buck I think it's really hard to beat a really good video game. Especially a good indie one. You can sink hundreds of hours of enjoy and engagement from a <$10 purchase. That's really tough to beat.

A new pair of socks. Few things feel better than wearing new socks.

You can buy a McGangBang for only around $2.50. Yum

Also along the same lines for something healthy you can by a McChicken with no mayo and a side salad for probably less than $2.50 and have a relatively healthy small lunch/snack. Just take the patty, cut it up and add that and the lettuce to the salad.

Cheese. Lots of different types of cheeses. Nothing better than a nice hunk of delicious cheese, or crumbles of cheese.

    Good feels :)

Dropping a ten on a guy/gal who really needs it is money well spent.

I looked in to it, and I'm a bit hesitant. My friend said her brother bought 3 things, all that looked like they came from the dollar store: a bow tie, a necklace, and plastic sunglasses. It's a cool idea, but sounds like a couple guys just scrounging dollar stores to make a quick buck.

Yeah, I'm always cautious around "mystery" gifts. I mean, it's not going to be the value of what you are purchasing it for, so why not just buy something you actually want instead?

A mediocre pocket knife is the ultimate tool and you can usually find a sturdy (albeit not-flashy) one for under $10.00.

I've got a soft spot for pocket knives. Any knife store I pass, I must enter to check out their display of pocket knives. Pity it's illegal to carry them around without reasonable excuse in Australia

America hasn't banned them yet but I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

I assume and hope you're being sarcastic and it just went over my head. I don't see any possibility of banning pocket knives in the US in the near future, and I'm extremely grateful for that.

I'm being quite sarcastic knock on wood but you never know. The people in charge of this country right now are completely off their rocker. I can't wait for their generation to die off. I'm hoping that brings some level of normalcy. Sorry if that comes off as harsh.

The best board game I've bought for less than $10 is Love Letter. Since it's compact, it can fit anywhere I'm going. I actually always have my deck in my bag, in case I need to burn some time. There's enough game in there for idle time while your waiting around, as well as a nice filler to start an evening of games.

I went to an underground(hidden in a warehouse) badminton club for 9 dollars and had the time of my life. Badminton is way more fun than I had thought.
