Looking at the results from this year, besides the obvious "Whatever happened to Rebecca Andrade?" question (she didn't qualify for vault finals due to a mistake she made during the qualifying round), it's clear what a difference a gymnast like Simone Biles makes. Since she stopped competing, we haven't seen anybody compete an Amanar vault in either the previous competitions leading to the world championships, or at the world championships, where not a single gymnast who qualified for the vault final performed said vault, and even those who could do Amanars (namely Rebeca Andrade and Jade Carey), downgraded their vaults to double twisting Yurchenkos. Some food for thought.
