US labor board files complaint against Tesla over worker rights
The U.S. agency in charge of enforcing labor law on Thursday filed a complaint against electric carmaker Tesla, saying it found merit to workers' complaints about unfair labor practices. According to the National Labor Relations Board complaint, Tesla violated workers' rights by requiring them to sign a confidentiality agreement that could bar them from talking about their working conditions and safety issues at the company's facility in Fremont, California.

Probably more beneficial for Tesla to get a fine from the Labor board than to see their workers become members of the UAW.
This is as much a tech company as an auto plant, these agreements are commonplace and needed in tech.
Union, they are pissed Tesla doesn't want them and workers apparently denied them, so let's get some disgruntles and cause problems.
