I found this fascinating, especially since every stitch had to be inspected before the seamstress could move on to the next one. Oh, the patience required to do this!
Yes, and also the knowledge that astronaut's lives depended on the integrity of these suits. When you think that one tiny hole could wind up killing the astronaut... that is scary stuff.
