For a few years now we've been fighting this problem, we switched to used/remanufactured cartridges a few years ago and about a year into using them the HP software started going crazy ranting about unauthorized carts will damage your printer, then it started blocking them, the company started using a new chip and they've been working again but in the last few months the problems have started creeping back up, the HP software no longer monitors ink levels, sometimes it refuses to print because the cartridge is not recognized, taking it out and putting it back in seems to fix it, but I haven't printed anything since this nuke has gone off, I better check. The printer we have is a Inkjet 1000 series J110.
Can we bring back the days of Boycotting? Stop buying HP products. Make these decisions hurt the companies that make them.
