This is the first article I've read where they explicitly define what a cyber war is. I think that if the government announced that we were in a cyber war, then the masses would panic because the term is generalized and they would think it's about their smartphones and computers.
I feel at least half of the "war" is being committed by our own government against it's own populous, who have been collectively re-branded as potential criminals/terrorists.
Our teeny Linux website kept getting hit by Russian bots and the admin had to block um,lock stock and barrel. So yeah,ugly stuff is going down big time ol everywhere.
