This is spectacular...I love the dappled lighting. This is a perfect shot and I agree it would make a wonderful painting.
The lighting in this photo is so captivating - being able to see hints of sunshine amongst the shadows lends an interesting dynamic. I'd love to see this painted, it's pretty close to a painting already. Beautiful!
I wonder what causes the velvet pattern to manifest on the very top petal only. Gravity? Sunlight? Very beautiful flowers and photo.
