Interesting read. A lot of doctors do research for the drug and device companies which is the only way these companies can get the drug/device approved by the FDA. That does not always mean they will only prescribe the drug they researched. Most doctors will look at the literature and decide what is best for the individual patient. If you discount the drug reps entirely you may be missing out on this aspect. That being said I would not take the sales rep by there word and would look at all the papers I could find.
