Digital Music Sales Decreased In 2013, While Vinyl Increased
According to Billboard, digital music sales are on the decrease as of 2013. This follows a plateau in the market over the last few years prior. According to the study digital song purchases dropped close to six percent in 2013, whilst digital album sales dropped 0.1 percent. The most impressive thing to come from the study was that vinyl record sales increased 13 percent by years end.
