Court releases video of Regina police officer kicking homeless man
A Regina judge ruled Thursday that two media outlets — the Regina Leader-Post and CTV — can have a copy of a video shown regarding a Regina Police Service officer previously charged with aggravated assault. Const. Robert Kenneth Power was originally convicted by a provincial court judge in February 2014 with aggravated assault against an intoxicated man in front to the Regina Detox centre on May 7, 2012.
