Good article. this is a scary precedent. At the time, Alaska is very clear that all waterways are state owned. http://dnr.alaska.gov/mlw/nav/nav_policy.htm
The only waterways we have that have limitations are deemed 'wild and scenic' which means no motorized boats are allowed.
That's how it should be everywhere.
As somebody that likes to fish and just sit and float this is a horrible thing, if this spreads I'll be very sad the waterways have been given to the highest bidding corporations.
