Climate change is a very real and urgent thing. Since it affects all walks of life, not just human. Most people forget this as they go on about their daily lives. But, when the atmosphere becomes so toxic we cant breathe it, and the earth is so hot or cold we cant function then will people take notice? Yes they will take notice. Why? because they have no choice. Then all the IPhones, all the SUV's, all the media wont matter because most will be dead from famine and disease. When all of it can be avoided if people would do what they can to counter it now.

It's frustrating to be an American. I bike everywhere, keep my buying to a minimum, and try to stay educated on what I can do to keep my carbon footprint down. But then I have to swerve around SUVs all day, have my friends complain they need the brand new iPhone because their current one is slightly slower, and everyone gets all huffy when you try to talk about climate change and how it's probably the reason we're in another record heat wave.

I don't get why people shut out FACTS because it makes them feel bad. I want them to get angry! Start smashing up hummers and burning down oil companies because we're so damn frustrated that our leadership is doingabsolutely nothing to change things. We owe it to the future of humanity to do SOMETHING.
