Ubisoft To Open New Berlin Studio In 2018
Ubisoft are founding a new studio in early 2018, spreading their global network of developers to include Berlin and creating a new team to help build the future of the Far Cry series which was first created by fellow Germans Crytek. The team will initially look to grow to 50 developers in its first year, which is relatively small in the grand scheme of Ubisoft things, but could obviously grow from there. It’s actually the third Ubisoft studio in the country, with Ubisoft Blue Byte being based in Düsseldorf and with an offshoot in Mainz.
