Russia Today spent £767 on Twitter adverts during Brexit campaign

The Kremlin-backed broadcaster Russia Today spent $1,031.99 (£767) on Twitter adverts during last year's EU Referendum campaign, the social network has revealed. Twitter revealed the spending in its response to investigations into Russian interference in the Brexit vote being conducted by the Electoral Commission and digital, culture, media and sport committee.
