Antivirus software maker Avast is reportedly selling its users' web data
Sensitive browsing data is repackaged and sold by a subsidiary called Jumpshot, according to a Motherboard and PCMag investigation.

I like how they say "users have always had the option to opt out of sharing data with Jumpshot.". That only works If you are aware your data is being sold or know you have the ability to opt out.
