What’s In An Audience?
A tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it. Does it make a sound? It’s a often-quoted and often-misinterpreted question. The idea behind it is if there is no one around to see something happen, to impose a perception of reality onto it, does its happening actually exist? Of course, you have the demographic of people that just answer, “Yes, the tree obviously makes a sound, what are you talking about? Why wouldn’t the tree make a sound?”
