As a teenager who uses the internet quite a bit, I have to say that it is a tool, and what you do with it really shapes how it should be looked at. A teen who spends much of their time on the internet on facebook, twitter, instagram, or other social media would have a completely different experience then one who is exploring technology, programming, and connecting with others around the world. The internet it's self is now a medium, one that is used to convey other mediums, and should be treated as such.
