Police arrest man after stranger pushed in front of bus
A man has been arrested after a woman was knocked into the path of a bus on Putney Bridge. The Metropolitan Police said it had arrested a 50-year-old man on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. Officers had appealed for witnesses after a 33-year-old woman was knocked down and only survived thanks to the quick reflexes of a double-decker bus driver.
