I haven't watched this episode yet but I'm not surprised by this review. It's felt pretty messy from the start, I'm still kind of hoping for a miracle.
Just watched this episode. What, in the name of all that is holy, is going on???? Same writer, same musical director, quality cast but just a mess of wooden acting,mumbled lines, incomprehensible plot, and some poor girl/woman with a seemingly untreated mental health issue, singing badly in a deserted bar for our musical enjoyment. Wow, it seems like the first series never happened. I'm still going to watch next week though...I've made the investment and will plough on in the hope that the brilliance that was apparent in the first series will somehow rise through the turgid morass that is the second series.
