Excellent! I've been anticipating this release. Not a hater on Steam, but I like to see competition. While I see Origin and Uplay as cancer on my computer, hopefully GOG Galaxy can prove to be a viable alternative.
So GOG is trying to go the way of steam with a distribution app, I have my doubts as to whether this can fly considering how well uplay and origin have done against steam.
I only use origin and uplay when I need them (to play certain games) , and the occasional check for any deals. I wouldn't really consider them a success.
