'Active Raid' Mecha Anime Announced, to Premiere in January 2016
The November issue of Kadokawa's Newtype magazine is revealing on Saturday that Goro Taniguchi ('Planetes', 'Code Geass', 'Maria the Virgin Witch') will serve as chief director on a new original television anime titled 'Active Raid -Kidou Kyoushuushitsu Dai-Hakkei-' ('Active Raid: Mobile Assault Division, Unit 8'). The anime is slated for a January 2016 premiere on Tokyo MX and other channels.
