I am fully running Arch for just a few days now for the first time since I started using Linux (first Red Hat, then Fedora, about twelve years ago). In one week I have learned more about my system than I did in the years before. It is inviting to tinker and try out without, if things are done right, really breaking the system. There are always ways to fix things, which makes it neat. Being used to the more "labour intense" way of doing things, I enjoy it better because of the control over my own equipment.

Nice read and thanks for the post.
