So long, long flight: Eulogy for a 19-hour non-stop from New York to Singapore
There are some great flights, and one of them, probably the best, is known as SQ21, a 19-hour non-stop flight, the world’s longest, between New York and Singapore. But instead of a celebration of this apogee of the evolution of aviation, this is going to have to be a eulogy, because it’s taking off for the last time on Nov. 23.
