Into the history books: Encyclopaedias virtually 'worthless'
They were once a huge investment for the family home and a vital part of any school library, but encyclopaedias have now passed into history and can barely be given away. "Modern, 20th-century encyclopaedias really aren't worth anything at all now," rare book dealer Derek McDonnell told ABC Radio Perth.
