HBO Now has launched on Apple devices—no cable TV subscription required
The day has come: You can finally get HBO without a pay TV subscription. The new service, HBO Now, is only available in the United States to people who own an Apple device or get their internet service from Cablevision. Other options are coming soon. HBO Now is a streaming service aimed at cord cutters, though some people who already pay for a television subscription may drop it now that they can get HBO on its own.
