Capcom to "explore" possibility of more remakes and re-releases post Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 2 developers Capcom mentioned they’re going to be making more remakes and re-releases in the future in their quarterly earnings call. The upcoming survival horror title Resident Evil 2, which releases in early January next year, is the second game in the series to get a remake with the first being the original. Looks like Capcom is willing to remake more of the titles, Resident Evil 3 next maybe? It would certainly complete the PS1 releases and wrap up the Racoon City saga.
