Super Mario World speedrunner breaks the world record time by executing the recently discovered credits warp glitch.

Discovering the glitch required re-programming the game while playing the game. They use a "debugger" to look at what address the computer jumped to by using an emulator on a PC. While doing all those random tasks in the game, he essentially manipulated the memory to take him to the credits screen. Because this was performed on a legitimate SNES and was taken to the credits, it's an official time of under 5 minutes and a new world record.

Just watched the entire video. He messed up a few times so I would expect this record to be dropped significantly soon. Maybe even down to 4 minutes or less.
