Nintendo confirms cloud saves and NES launch titles for Switch online service

Nintendo has given some new details on its long-in-gestation online service for the Switch. The service, officially called Nintendo Switch Online, will go live this September costing $3.99 a month.

I had almost forgotten that Nintendo had always planned to charge for online services, I wonder how many people are going to wake up in September pissed off about this.

    Technically as an internet connected device, anybody that is online should receive a pop-over message on the home screen reminding them once a month up until it launches, they need to be prepared. Anyone that doesn't connect in the next 4 months probably isn't worried about it either way.
