They don't understand it because they mostly come the pampered elite and they go back to their elite lifestyles after school. There is no downside for them in their minds. Wait till the realization that they have been put on a social credit system that gets ever more pervasive each year...and if it is fully implemented, will definitely rain on their self indulgent parade.
