N. Korea grants detained Korean-American consular access

North Korea has allowed consular access to Kenneth Bae, a detained Korean-American man, after he was sent back to a labor camp two weeks ago, a news report said Wednesday. Bae had a meeting with officials at the Swedish Embassy in Pyongyang earlier this week, the first in four months, the Voice of America (VOA) reported. It quoted an unnamed U.S. State Department official.
