What If We Made Advertising Illegal?
What if we banned all advertising? Not regulate it—abolish it. This proposal would transform manipulation machines, and maybe save democracy itself. A thought experiment worth considering.

I was nine years old when I got a mechanized t rex for xmas...It was not half as interesting/fun as the advertisement made it out to be... That's when I realized advertisements were a pack of lies to sell us stuff ...Since then I cane to gradually hate advertising of all kinds and mute them and have used ad blockers for years, I will NOT watch ads. Anyway,I'd be ecstatic if ads were gotten rid of,but it will never happen cause MONEY.
