I feel vindicated seeing that "changing passwords frequently" is on the nonexpert side of the analysis. The mandatory changing of passwords every 30/60/90 days at workplaces is surely a contributing cause to the most unsecure passwords being employed over time. What may start as a strong password will end up being "Password123" after enough forced changes. That, or the infamous sticky note on the monitor with all of the new passwords.
